Enrichment Opportunities for Students

Students who are interested in additional STEM opportunities beyond the classroom are encouraged to explore the competitions below. Students may work on them indepenently of school, or, with parental and teacher permisson, may schedule a time to work with our theme coach, Ms. Poulakos, to work on these challenges during our "block 26" time. Discovery Education Annual Challenge: Are you America's Top Young Scientist?Students, grades 5-8, are invited to create a 1-2 minute video describing a new, innovating solution that could solve an everyday problem.
